Tassels are definitely one of the most important looks this season. They’re starting to appear on everything, from clothes and accessories right through to household items. Here are some different items which are currently utilising the trend for tassels, and the ways in which you can wear them to complete your outfit:
- Shoes. Tassels are adorning everything from heels to winter boots, and they look just as stylish either way. Just be careful not to wear them in the rain or they might end up looking like a matted mess as opposed to a popular trend.
- Scarves. Many scarves have had small fringed edges for years, but these are now becoming a more prominent feature. Fill your wardrobe with checked tasselled scarves for a particularly high-fashion look.
- Earrings and necklaces. Yes, this trend has even spread to jewellery. Oversized earrings and long necklaces with tassels are lining the shelves in all major fashion stores. They will make an excellent addition to any outfit.
- Dresses. Wearing a dress with a fringe of tassels around the bottom will look incredibly stylish and is perfect for a night out, or perhaps even New Year’s Eve.
- Handbags. Leather tassels look particularly effective, and handbags with a tasseled fringe around the edge will add the finishing touch to any outfit.
